auntie & uncle back in the day

uncle was looking through his old stuff among his old squash racquet collection...bowling balls...records and stuff...then uncle found this old picture taken together with auntie...ahhh...such wonderful memories...everytime uncle sit down after dinner to read his papers, auntie would sit down beside to tell uncle about her day...and pamper uncle with her delicious homemade cookies...

p/s: Johnson has recovered from the nasty incident, he is alive and well...Kai has been rehabilitated and has now once again become part of the community, he is now happy and normal.

dangerous people

i got this shot when i was visiting an illegal fight club in Vietnam last month...its not only illegal...these brutally angry and fierce 'fighters' are only in their early 20's, and have been brought up by their caretakers since the early ages of five. They live in a very basic and almost unsanitary environment...and everyday trained to fight...and some to kill in a fight...they only heed their master. Everyone else is expandible.

this particular fighter known only as 'kai' caught my eye...(shit it rhymes) sitting there in one corner waiting his turn to unleash his brutality on his next opponent...something about him just struck me...his eyes...white as ivory sunken in his grimy face just gave me that creepy feeling that no one should mess around with him...i took this shot while he was looking away and quickly hid my camera...i didnt stay for the fight...because i rather let this shot trap all emotions and feelings i had about kai...

i shudder everytime i look at this picture...

we found our intern, Johnson Ling...lying in a pool of blood outside the office from a what would be lethal gunshot wound to the spine. The cartridge was identified as a 23-calibre usually used in AK-47's. Johnson was miraculously still breathing when we arrived at the scene, and was rushed to SJMC. He is now alive and recupperating, but suffers from a permanent facial disorder called faciulus musculitis myiatosis, where the brain no longer has control over facial muscles. He now lives in Petaling Jaya, with a permanent blur-what-the-hell-do-you-want face, as that was probably his last expression before getting shot.

im finally done with my neck piece...it took in total about 4 weeks with 3 sessions to kautim this...i really love the shading and the electric blue! this awesome piece was done by my regular awesome tattoo artist Joshua Nonis.

1. Getting tattoos on the neck is cool.
2. Getting swallows on the neck is cooler.
3. Getting tattoos on the neck could fucking hurt.
4. Getting swallows on the neck really fucking hurts.
