collabo

joey suggested this...that i choose a pic...stylize it...then pass it on to afew people and they work on it. whats gonna be great is seeing the end result after the last person touches it...i think its rad, so i will be doing that sometime this month. the best part is...it could also be stylized with design, and integration of design and photography, in my world, its called motion graphics (when it moves lah) i think its gonna be fun so if any of you designy artsie fartsie individuals wanna join in, lemme know...:)

monthly favourites

hey guys,

ive really enjoyed your visits and comments and support for + 2 0 p i x e l s +. i thought of doing a monthly favourite post at the end of every month, where it would be great if you could list between 3-5 of your favourite shots in that month...i will be listing mine too. after that i will post the 'before and after' for that shots, and include a small write up on why i chose that finishing and mebbe the process.

i told my cousin bout my site, and what i do with the pics...that i snap my subject, and retouch it heavily to get the finishing i want. basically cheating. then he asked me..."so the purists would be against it?" now...what say you guys? i say so what...its stylization anyway...and its just to create mood...and i like green skies...no way in hell you gonna get green skies naturally unless you use gels or filters in your 'natural photography' so i use this thing in photoshop called 'photo filter' hahah...so anywayyyyy...yeah...is what i do defined as cheating? or merely experimenting with photography in a different way?

p/s: spare me the details about 'getting your principles of photography right before dabbling in other stuffs...bla bla bla'...im lazy...
